Minimum requirements specified by software vendors are just that… but it generally takes much more for the system to function with an acceptable degree of performance, especially in a multi-user environment.  

Too often new application are installed and left for users to teach themselves on the functions leading to confusion and lack of standard operations. Users need proper training to perform their duties as well as understand the limitations of the program.
